dance pose watch smile!

saturday:
call time was supposed to be 6 in the morning, and guess what time i arrived? 8:30!!! wahehe. it was for the 20th Dacelebration event. it was a dance contest among different schools, both for high school and college. it was a very tiring day indeed! i had to do all sorts of things like run here and there, cut up some things, paste some things, push alone a 10 feet(im just guessing) tall machine with a person on top of it(ito kc ung genie ng tya), play traffic enforcer and peace officer to excited and nervous contestants, take some photos, and some other stuff. oh and i was happy to be able to officially use the headset even for just a few minutes.

the contest was very fun to watch. all the contestants were very interesting. their props, styles and gimmicks were simply amazing. up diliman won int street category and i thought they really were the best because of their fantastic props, gimmick and all other etchos they put into their act. their theme was 'movies'. for the jazz category, i think it was the ateneo cads who won. oh, and to think that ate jemie and i almost wrecked their props! i accidentally stepped on one of their bamboo sticks for their tinikling stint, and i did hear it crack. i wan't even finished saying sorry yet, when ate jemie stepped on it too! hahaha.. laughtrip! but we fixed it anyway with some scotch tape! thank goodness it worked.

sunday:
i finally started on my photo essay! yeay! early in the morning, i met up with maple, jp, and adi at the philam village park. isaac and charles were also there for a bit. we weren't even halfway done yet when a guard passed by and told us to stop because it was not allowed daw. apparently, some nosy villager reported us to the guards and told them that we should stop. what the heck! as if we were doing anything wrong? we had to have the permission of the clubhouse daw first, eh it was closed naman. and then we started with this sort of battle. on one side, it was the helpless security guard, and on the other, it was me, maple, adi and jp, who by the way are some of the best speakers DLA has ever seen! nyahahaha. joke! mga wannabe-lawyers ito noh! gagawa na nga kami ng law firm namin sa future! hahaha... kawawang manong guard. pero magalang pa rin naman kami eh. ah basta. mga batang ayaw paawat! so it ended with us going to the main securioty office and calling up the village president(i think) and ask for his permission. thank heavens for jp who was a homeowner there. haha. our next location was somewhere near jp's place. grabe! we were cooked to a crisp under the heat of the scorching sun! ask my actors and they'll tell you how excruciating it was to act and get your tongue all diried out because of the heat! hehehe.. i luv u guys! ur the best! but it was such a laugh trip! the scenes shot were very funny and not to mention their costumes! hihihi.. there was even a kissing scene involved, but so as to protect their dignities, i will not spill! =P

let's hope and pray that Ms.Umali will choose ten photos already so i won't have to reshoot! waaaaaaaaah. . . .

happy feet!

late in the afternoon, well almost in the evening, i met up with jave. we watched happy feet!!! yehey! i was so excited to watch this film. it was uber cute in many parts. but i can't help but feel that some parts were too scary. i mean, if i was a little kid, i would be very scared to watch some of the scenes. we also thought that it was an eye-opener/environmentalist movie/let's open the youth's eyes type of movie all boxed up in a very colorful and enticing box. weird. pero i enjoyed it a lot ha! don't get me wrong.

oh and...
hold my hand and i won't let go. even in your darkest moments, i will not let go. don't be afraid to be alone coz i'm here. always was, always will be. =)
